Why does WhatsApp storage get full?
1. Every picture and video is saved
automatically
Whether you like it or not, WhatsApp saves everything you send on your
phone. Every video and picture that comes in groups also takes up space in your
phone’s memory.
2. Groups take up the most space
Hundreds of photos and videos from friends, family, school, or work come
in every day. All of them speedily fill up your phone's storage.
3. Status videos are also hidden and
saved
When you check someone's status, it automatically gets saved in a unseen
folder on your phone. Most people don’t even recognize about this.
Easy Ways to Clear WhatsApp Storage

your phone.
